driving home from work one day, i heard those words on the radio -- so simple, so blatantly simple. it is exactly what i've felt from the moment i knew things were over between us. it is unnerving to me, that sudden, breathtaking about-face of feelings. what happens? where does it all go?
i can't explain it. i just know it's true.
